Puzzle Box Academy is a welcoming space where exceptional and developmentally delayed students explore, learn, build confidence, and thrive.

Admissions Process

We take a holistic approach to admission into the Puzzle Box Academy to ensure every child entrusted to our care is the right fit based on our practices and unique needs.

Visit

Every Puzzle Box Academy journey begins with a private tour. Your family will tour one of our Brevard County schools and learn about your child. During your visit, you will receive an enrollment packet. An electronic enrollment packet can be sent to you for those who do not wish to or cannot tour.

Apply

After you submit your enrollment packet, we’ll schedule a dynamic assessment. During this four-hour experience, your child will shadow a Puzzle Box classroom and complete an academic and behavioral assessment. A family member over 18 will need to remain on the premises during the assessment period. During this time, they can watch the evaluation and ask any questions.

Enroll

Within five days of the evaluation, the admissions department will contact the family to schedule a meeting to review the results. If the child is determined to meet all prerequisites during this meeting, the child’s placement is reviewed, and enrollment will be finalized, including a start date.

*Student placement is based on prerequisite skills and space availability.

Applied Behavioral Analysis Services

Puzzle Box Academy partners with Kaleidoscope Interventions to provide ABA services to students. Depending on insurance authorization, the student will be allowed services during the academic day or after school during the wheel of enrichment.
