A “rising star” school signifies that the school has made significant improvements in student performance and educational outcomes. This involves implementing innovative programs, providing high-quality educational resources, and fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and success. Schools that are recognized as “rising star” schools are often celebrated for their efforts in enhancing student achievement and providing a better educational experience.

Puzzle Box Academy is proud to have past rising star winners and to have children up for nomination this year as well. The Rising Stars Award program from Step Up For Students in Florida celebrates outstanding scholarship students through various ceremonies.

This year, the program includes in-person events and a new category, the Super Senior Award. Students can be nominated in several categories, such as Outstanding Character Award, Turnaround Student Award, High Achievement Award, and Super Senior Award, recognizing their academic achievements, leadership, and community service.

The awards ceremony is a significant event that highlights the achievements of students enrolled in the scholarship programs, including the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarships. As many of our students receive the Step Up for Students’ scholarship program, we have many students who are eligible for this award, and it is our honor to rise up students to highlight their achievements. We are also honored to be considered a Rising Star School for our participation and success with our students.
